Cooperation with the European Institute of Cultural Routes
Since 1999, the Department of Cultural Heritage has been cooperating with the EICR and conducting specific projects, such as the preparation for developing the Route of Parks and Gardens including the four parks designed in Lithuania by E. F. Andre (in Užutrakis, Trakų Vokė, Lentvaris and Palanga), the participation in the programme of the Council of Europe, the European Route of Jewish Heritage, as well as consultations and seminars on the creation and developing of Lithuanian Cultural Routes and connection to the European networks.

A Feasibility Study on Restoration of the Trakų Vokė Park | ||||
The most recent result of cooperation between the Department of Cultural Heritage and the European Institute of Cultural Routes is a feasibility study on restoration of the Trakų Vokė Park. In the course of implementation of this project, an analysis was carried out in Lithuania as to what were the changes in one of the parks designed by Eduard Andre in Lithuania, namely, the Trakų Vokė Park. |
